Metromover Closures Planned For Scheduled Repair Work In Miami
The free service, which operates in downtown Miami and in the Brickell area, will be suspended Sunday April 25-26, and May 1-2 and 8-9.

MIAMI, FL — The entire Metromover system will close every weekend through Mother’s Day due to track repair work, Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works said in a news release.
The system will close Saturday and Sunday April 25-26, and May 1-2 and 8-9. On these weekends, after shutting down at 10 p.m. on Friday evening, the Metromover will remain closed through Monday at 5 a.m.
Riders will be provided a free shuttle bus service between every Metromover station during the closure, with buses arriving approximately every 10 to 15 minutes, DTPW said.

Metromover is a free service that operates daily in the downtown and Brickell area, according to the county website. Major destinations include the American Airlines Arena, Bayside Marketplace, Miami-Dade College and the Miami-Dade County School Board.
