Miami Beach Police Recover Rifle After Hit-And-Run Crash

Miami Beach police recovered a rifle Thursday following an early morning hit-and-run car crash along 41 Street and Alton Road.

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Miami Beach police recovered a rifle Thursday following an early morning hit-and-run car crash along 41 Street and Alton Road.

The weapon, which was possibly an AR-15-style rifle, was found on one of four occupants of a BMW with Ohio plates that struck a parked Tesla before becoming disabled.

Twenty-year-old Blake Alexander Graham of Miami was subsequently charged with openly carrying a weapon and resisting arrest without violence, according to arrest documents.

The agency's Ernesto Rodriguez said three other occupants of the BMW were detained by police for a time and released.
