MIAMI, FL -- In honor of its new digs at Hard Rock Stadium, the Miami Open tennis tournament has taken the wraps off a new signature cocktail.

The "MO Smash" will be featured throughout the two-week event but you can also make it at home when you get back. Click here to visit the official website of the 2019 event presented by Itaú.

"The drink was created in partnership with Hendricks Gin, serving up a cocktail that is light and refreshing, approachable while still embracing the deep flavors of Miami," said a spokesperson for the Miami Open in introducing the new drink. "The citrus forward cocktail pairs perfectly with the subtlety of the gin for a perfect courtside cocktail."

Here's how to make the MO Smash at home:

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce Hendricks Gin
  • 1.5 ounces Blood Orange Sour (Finest Call)

Instructions

  • Fill glass with soda water
  • Top with .5 ounce Solerno (Blood Orange Liquor)
