MIAMI, FL - Angie Avellan Cruz has been safely recovered and has been reunited with her family, Miami police announced on the department's Facebook page. Police did not provide any additional details.
Police had asked for the public's help in finding the missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen near Northwest 17th Avenue and 28th Street on Thursday.
Police had released a photo of Angie Cruz, who was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, olive green pants and had a brown book bag when she was reported missing.
