Naked Woman Startles Travelers At Miami Airport

MIAMI, FL — A naked woman startled travelers at busy Miami International Airport earlier this week before being taken into custody by Miami-Dade police.

Video of the incident posted on social media shows the woman walking briskly through the baggage claim area wearing only her undergarments at first.

The 27-year-0ld woman then can be seen removing her undergarments as she made her way toward the ground transportation exit at Miami International — one of the nation's busiest airports — without any clothes on at all.

Heads turned and people gawked as the woman even broke into a little dance before leaving the baggage claim area around 11:40 p.m. Monday.

"The naked female was located at the MIA Central Plaza parking garage exit, behaving erratically," said Detective Argemis Colome of the Miami-Dade Police Department. "After conducting his investigation, the responding officer took her into custody and transported her to a nearby receiving facility for an involuntary examination."

Police did not identify the woman or say whether she had been a passenger on an arriving flight.
