Residents, families, friends and elected officials ran, jogged, and walked the two and three-mile optional routes during the event, called "Runs Against Guns," that started and finished at the City of Opa-locka Municipal Complex at 780 Fisherman Street.
It was hosted by Commissioner John H. Taylor, Jr., and Running Edge 305, a local run club, who were joined by Mayor Matthew Pigatt.
