MIAMI, FL — Tuesday is The Great American Takeout and a chance to support your friends and neighbors in Miami's hard-hit restaurant business.
The idea was hatched by a coalition of restaurant chains, including Panera Bread, Noodles & Company, Veggie Grill, El Torito, Jason's Deli, The Habit Burger Grill, Lemonade, Modern Market and Chevys Fresh Mex.
Organizers want people to order takeout on Tuesday and encourage family and friends to do the same. Then take a photo of your meal and post it on social media with the hashtag #TheGreatAmericanTakeout.
