MIAMI, FL — The landing gear of a small plane collapsed as the aircraft landed at Miami Executive Airport Wednesday but no injuries were reported, according to a Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson.

A spokesperson for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the incident happened shortly after noon at the southwest Miami-Dade airport.

"When MDFR’s foam truck arrived, they found that the small plane had already landed on the runway," the agency spokesperson said. "Crews assessed the scene and ensured there were no injuries on board."
