AT&T Boosts Mobile Service In South Florida
Wireless carrier AT&T announced it is upgrading its service around the Miami area.

PINECREST, FL — While some South Floridians already get separation anxiety at the mere thought of being apart from their mobile phones, wireless carrier AT&T announced on Wednesday that those same users may now enjoy their phones even more. AT&T has upgraded 140 cell sites in South Florida to increase data speeds and network performance for customers. The sites are spread across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
The upgrade will also affect service to Cricket Wireless customers, according to AT&T's Kelly Starling.
“AT&T works hard to deliver a great network experience for our customers, wherever they are,” said AT&T Florida President Joe York in announcing the service boost. “That’s why we continue to invest in our South Florida networks. Our investments will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices.”
