Florida has emerged as a key battleground state in this presidential election, and both Trump and his opponent, Democrat Joe Biden, have campaigned hard in the Sunshine State in the final weeks leading up to Nov. 3.

The latest CNN polls, released Saturday, shows Biden continuing to hold a narrow lead over Trump in Florida. Forty-nine percent of voters polled there said they support Biden, while 46 percent said they back Trump.

Both candidates were in Florida Thursday. Biden appeared at drive-in rallies at Broward College's Coconut Creek campus and the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. Meanwhile, Trump hosted a "Make America Great Again" event at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium.

Other members of their campaign have also visited Florida recently. Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris, made three South Florida stops Saturday. Pres. Barack Obama stumped for Biden in Orlando on Tuesday and will be back in Miami Monday.

Pete Buttigieg led a "Pride at the Polls" event in St. Petersburg. Several of Trump's children have made Florida stops in recent weeks, as well, including Ivanka Trump, who held events in Sarasota and Miami on Tuesday.
