At Art Basel Miami Beach 2017, there will new dining options and glamorous lounges where you can snag a cocktail to sip as you gawk at all the masterpieces. Awesome Outdoor Exhibits

If you live in Miami, you probably know Collins Park pretty well. But you might not recognize it once Art Basel turns it into an open-air art exhibit on Dec. 5. Critic Philipp Kaiser is this year’s curator of the “Territorial” exhibit in the park, which he’ll reimagine with larger-than-life sculptures and live performances that are free to the public.

Meanwhile, SoundScape Park will play host to part of ABMB’s Film sector, screening some thought-provoking works on a 7,000-square-foot projection wall under the stars.

Enlightening Conversations

Once you’ve taken in all the fabulous art your eyes can handle, head to ABMB’s Conversations sector, where prominent artists, curators, collectors and art historians will discuss everything from the importance of patronage to how natural disasters impact contemporary art. HOW TO MAKE A DON JULIO PALOMA

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Don Julio Blanco
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz agave nectar
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions: Top with club soda, rim with Tajin seasoning and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
