Beachgoers Urged To Be Cautious After Miami Beach Shark Bite
The shark bite victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, sources report.

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Beachgoers in Miami Beach are urged to stay vigilant after a man was bitten by a shark in the area of 10th Street on South Beach on Wednesday.
WSVN reports the 31-year-old man was in shallow water and only a few feet out in the surf when he was bitten. The man was left with an eight-inch laceration on his leg but is in stable condition, according to the report.
Local 10 reports the aggressor was a black tip shark. The man was treated on the beach and taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

NBC 6 South Florida reported on Wednesday that beachgoers were told to stay out of the water between 5th and 15th Streets after several bait fish schools were seen in the water in the area.
