MIAMI BEACH, FL — If you're planning to take to the road this Thanksgiving holiday, you'll find average gas prices of $2.46 per gallon in the Miami Beach area, according to website GasBuddy.

That's lower than the national average of $2.59 but like anything else you may be able to find even lower prices if you shop around. Generally, you'll find the best deals on gas the farther you get from the ocean. That means a short trip a across one of the causeways could save you lots of money.
