Miami Beach’s 4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled
The traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled in Miami Beach, but there are several other ways you can celebrate Independence Day.
MIAMI BEACH, FL — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.
Of course, not all events are returning this year.
Miami Beach has canceled its annual Fire on the Fourth festival to honor victims of the Surfside condo collapse. Much of the emergency response to the tragedy has used city streets and facilities, Miami Beach said. The city asks its residents to light a candle at 4 p.m. on July 4, wherever they happen to be, to honor those affected by the building's collapse.

Meanwhile, one of the biggest events in Miami-Dade County, America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park, won’t be held this year because of pandemic-related safety concerns, the Miami Herald reported. Instead, a smaller event will take place at Jose Marti Park.
