How To Save 20 Percent On Española Way

MIAMI BEACH, FL — We put up with maddening traffic year round not to mention the odd behavior of some of our visitors. Yet we hardly complain. As a thank you, Miami area residents can now take 20 percent off our next visit to Española Way, at least for a limited time.

The tourist favorite destination in South Beach is offering 20 percent discounts at participating restaurants and retailers with a new locals only card.

"For decades, Española Way has been a destination that embodies Miami Beach's history and artistic tradition while evoking a picturesque Spanish village," according to the merchant association.

Here's how to get your discount card:

1. Click here to start.
2. A form will appear where you can enter your email address. Enter the email and click "Submit."
3. Access the 20 percent loyalty card and add to your smartphone wallet. Patch had difficulty figuring out how to use the wallet. But you can always reenter your email address and the card should reappear.
4. Show your phone to your server with the electronic image of the discount card. The server may have to show it to their manager. But Patch was able to use the card at two separate businesses. Be sure to bring a local ID though you may not need it.
