Miami Beach Honors Community Leaders In Hispanic Heritage Awards
The winners will be recognized for their contributions to the Miami Beach community.
MIAMI BEACH, FL — Next week, Miami Beach's Hispanic Affairs Committee will continue its celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with an awards ceremony recognizing community members.
The awards are offered in categories like education, business, art, public safety and more. In a release, the committee said the winners "have contributed positively to the Miami Beach community in their respective professional field, and live or work in the City of Miami Beach."

- Educator – Jorge Mazon
- Business – Abbott Florist
- Business – L’Artisane Creative Bakery
- Artist – Michael Hausmann with Miami New Drama
- Public Safety (Police, MBPD) – Eric Dominguez
- Social Service Provider – Ricardo Barbosa with Snack Patrol
- Hispanic Community Member – Alejandro “Alex” Fernandez
- Youth Involved In Community Service – Paola Serrano
