Macchialina invites guests on a culinary adventure this Mother’s Day with an exclusive Chef’s Tasting Menu, handcrafted by Chef Mike Pirolo in addition to the restaurant’s regular à la carte menu. Chef’s five-course tasting menu is set at $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. To start, diners will feast on house favorites such as the Burrata Crostino, Broccolini al Cesare, and Creamy Polenta with sausage ragu. Enjoy a pasta course of either the Agnolotti dal Plin (Winner of MacMadness tournament): filled with roast duck leg, vin cotto, and baby spinach Cavatelli Macchialina with baby meatballs, porchetta, and pecorino; or the Taglione al Funghi with Abalone mushrooms and parmigiano. Main courses will feature Chef Mike’s Mother’s Day special, Slow Braised Veal Ossobuco with baby carrots, creamy polenta and gremolata. Offered only a few times a year, the cross-cut veal shanks braised with vegetables, white wine and broth are sure to dazzle Mom. This chic steakhouse is planning delicious culinary delights crafted by Executive Chef/Co-owner Sean Brasel. In celebration of Mother’s Day, 1 Hotel South Beach has crafted a unique spa package that will be offered throughout the month of May. The Bamford Haybarn Spa’s “Mother’s Day Escape” Package will take visitors on a revitalizing and invigorating two-and-a-half-hour journey perfect for allowing moms to de-stress this holiday. The package begins with a 50-minute Bamford Destress massage that works the physical and energetic layers of the body to improve circulation. It is then followed by a 25-minute scalp massage and a 50-minute Bamford Organic facial to release tension in the skin and stimulate radiant complexion.
