UNIPOWER Announces New V.P. of Operations, Phillip Haynes

As UNIPOWER LLC’s newly installed Vice President of Operations, Philip Haynes is responsible for overseeing UNIPOWER’s global operations footprint that includes manufacturing and engineering centers in North America, Europe and Asia. In this role Philip is expected to develop and implement world class production, purchasing, materials and quality strategies that will further position the company ahead of industry competition.

Philip has joined UNIPOWER with over 20 years of operations and executive management experience in high mix/mid-volume electronics manufacturing with such companies as Yazaki, Valeo, Stoneridge and Medallion Instrumentation serving the vehicle driver display and infotainment market segments. He has worldwide experience in operations improvement, in-depth knowledge of off-shore sourcing and supply chains, and customer-facing engagement in private equity environments.

Philip was a former US Navy officer and served aboard two surface ships in the 1990s. He graduated from the University of New Mexico, holds a MBA and completed numerous professional certifications and licenses including CPIM, CSCP and MBB/LSS. Philip is also a private pilot – a life-long passion of his.

Mr. Haynes’ hands-on knowledge, ingenuity and leadership will be paramount in the growth and positioning of the company in the high-efficiency power electronics, energy conversion and smart grid markets.
