10-Month-Old Dies In Crash On Interstate 75 Near Fletcher
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-car crash on northbound Interstate 75 south of Fletcher Avenue.

NORTH TAMPA, FL -- The Forida Highway Patrol said a 10-month-old baby killed in a crash on Sunday wasn't restrained in a child's seat when the accident occurred.
The accident occurred at 3:11 p.m. Oct. 7 on northbound Interstate 75 south of Fletcher Avenue.
Lorraine Sailor, 50, of Brandon was driving her 2008 Hyundai Elantra on I-75 when she swerved to avoid debris on the highway. She lost control of the car and crashed into a guardrail.

Her three grandchildren, ages 10 months, 3 years and 8 years were in the car at the time. Troopers said none of the children were restrained. The 10-month-old and the 2-year-old were ejected from the car. The baby died at the scene. The other two children were taken to Tampa General Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
Trooper said charges are pending against Sailor for failing to restrain the children.
