3rd Annual Summer Camp Expo Set

Both indoor and outdoor activities for all ages will be featured.

From Family-Friendly Tampa Bay: Family-Friendly Tampa Bay, the Bay Area’s very first Pasco/New Tampa Summer Camp Expo source, announces the 2019 Summer Camp Expo Pasco/New Tampa Edition. “This is our third year connecting summer camp experts with campers in Tampa Bay” said Miriam Cook, founder of Family-Friendly Tampa Bay. “With over 3,500 event participants over the past two years have told us that our Expos help create stress-free summers for parents, provide a variety and affordable summer program options and a fun and interactive experience for their children."

Expo goers can strike up one-on-one conversations with summer camp experts. Providers from over forty camps will be at the Expo to discuss and demonstrate camp activities and offer exclusive discounts for attendees. From adventure, to stem, from academic to sports, from technology to theatre there are a diversity of camps for all ages, interests and budget. This year’s Pasco/New Tampa Expo also includes specialty camps including sewing, coding, video game design, special needs camps and chef camps.

"We are proud to have one of our valued camp providers, Academy at the Lakes as our presenting sponsor for 2019" said Cook. "Academy at the Lakes prides itself on supporting community-wide events. We are excited to partner with Family-Friendly Tampa Bay, as they have provided a high-quality Summer Camp Expo experience over the last two years,” said Kelly Rodowsky “We look forward to welcoming many families onto our campus and into one of our many summer programs this year.”

Both indoor and outdoor activities for all ages will be featured at the Expo, including bounce houses, an all-ages dodgeball arena, free crafts, stage performances, and giveaways. Families can participate in an Expo Easter Scavenger Hunt, petting zoo and kids can visit with the Easter Bunny. Plus, Expo goers can take in a BOGO round of mini-golf on the Plantation Palms Mini-Golf Course.

Giving Back at the Expo: The Family-Friendly Summer Camp Expo will be hosting a Summer Camp Drive for the Joshua House (501)(c)(3) non-profit which helps provide a safe haven for abused, abandoned, and neglected children from 6-17 years old. Attendees can donate needed summer supplies such as beach towels, sunscreen, flip flops, socks, lip balm and even more needs as listed on our Donation Drive Flyer. Net proceeds from the Summer Camp Expo will go towards providing these much needed supplies.
