Sidewalk Stompers is a school program that encourages safe walking as an option to car line drop off for students. Pride Elementary started its program earlier this year and has a gold sneaker trophy for the class with the most participants each week. Fifth-graders can also volunteer to be Student Ambassadors and are responsible for tracking all the children who walk or bike to school, aka the Sidewalk Stompers.
