Benito Middle School Teacher Facing Sexual Battery Of 2 Students
A Benito Middle School teacher has been arrested by Tampa Police for having inappropriate relationships with two students.

TAMPA, FL – A Benito Middle School teacher has been arrested by Tampa Police for having inappropriate relationships with two students.
Tampa Police arrested Alex Jeffrey Hull, 31, of 801 E Calhoun St., Plant City, at the school Monday, Aug. 6.
Police say the incidents occurred between November 2017 and May 2018 at Benito Middle School, 10101 Cross Creek Blvd. in New Tampa.

Police began to investigate when a parent of one of the victims came forward.
The charges involving one victim include sexual battery, lewd and lascivious molestation, lewd and lascivious conduct and showing obscene materials to minors.

The charges for the second victim are three counts of sexual battery, one count each of lewd and lascivious molestation and lewd or lascivious conduct, and showing obscene materials to a minor.
According to the school's website, Hull is an eighth-grade honors algebra and pre-algebra teacher at the school. He helped pioneer the school's tardy police and was able to reduce the number of eighth-grade tardies by nearly 80 percent.
Though there is no evidence at this time of other victims, Tampa Police are urging parents and/or students who have knowledge about other possible victims to call Tampa Police at 813-231-6130.
