Burlington Stores Donate $10,000 To Turner/Bartels K-8

TAMPA, FL -- Students and staff at Turner/Bartels K-8 will benefit from a donation of $10,000 by Burlington Stores Inc. through its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org.

Representatives from Burlington Stores presented the check to Turner/Bartels Principal Cindy Land during an assembly on Tuesday, March 26. A representative from AdoptAClassroom.org contacted school administrators and helped to secure the donation for Turner/Bartels, which will provide new supplies for each teacher’s classroom. Land said the teachers will use the funds on a number of new classroom items.

“Our teachers look forward to using the funds to enhance learning in our school and in their classrooms. We are thankful for the support we received from Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org,” said Land.

Turner/Bartels K-8 is located at 9020 Imperial Oak Blvd., Tampa.

AdoptAClassroom.org provides teachers with an online marketplace of nearly 30 school specialty and office supply vendors where they can purchase the materials and tools they need to better engage with their students.

Burlington, in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, makes a donation to a local school in each grand opening market to celebrate a new store location.
