Normal operations have been suspended temporarily due to COVID-19.

TAMPA, FL — Executive Director Janet Dougherty, Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County, announced that normal operations at its office at 3629 Queen Palm Drive, Tampa, have been suspended temporarily.
EPC has placed a hold on all onsite meetings, including application and permitting reviews. The lobby remains open during normal business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, services will be limited to document drop-off and deliveries due to the coronavirus emergency.

"We are still committed to providing exceptional service and maintaining our mission during these challenging times. I want to assure the citizens of Hillsborough County, as well as our stakeholders, that their safety is at the forefront of our decision to limit our in-person amenities," Dougherty said. "Staff is working remotely and will continue to provide services online through our website, by email and by phone."

Field staff will continue to perform inspections and investigate environmental complaints.
