ICYMI: Anonymous 'Thank You' Makes Officers' Day
A simple greeting to a Tampa Police Officer put smiles on a lot of faces.

Police officers work long, grueling hours, often without any thought of receiving thanks for what they do.
That wasn’t the case in Tampa Tuesday morning when a person left an anonymous thank-you card on an officer’s cruiser.
“Thank you for all your do in our community,” the person wrote. “It is truly appreciated.”

The writer went on to wish the officer a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year on the card, which had been specifically designed for those who serve the country.
It was signed, “Sincerely, your neighbor.”

That card might have been anonymous, but its receipt seems to have made the rounds at the Tampa Police Department.
“Words can’t express how much it means to us,” the Tampa Police Department Facebook page read. “It made our day!”
The department was so appreciative of the card, in fact, it posted a photo of it on that page along with the thank you for the thank you.
