John B. Sargeant Park to Close April 4-8
Construction at the park entrance will force closure for the week.
THONOTOSASSA, FL – Hillsborough County Conservation and Environmental Lands Management will close John B. Sargeant Park, 12702 N. U.S. Hwy 301, for repairs and construction beginning Monday, April 4.
The park, which borders the Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Preserve, will have its entrance repaved, widened, sealed, and re-striped. The Accessible Parking area will be refurbished. The park maintenance entrance will be repaired as resealed as well.
Work is scheduled to finish on Friday, April 8, weather permitting. The park is scheduled to reopen Saturday, April 9.
