Man Killed During Thonotosassa Home Invasion

THONOTOSASSA, FL – One person is dead and another person was injured after a shooting during a home invasion and robbery Thursday, May 31.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies say Shannon Collins, also known as Shannon Caddo, 25, of Thonotosassa was killed during the home invasion. The injured person has not been named.

The shooting occurred in the Pine Ridge Estates mobile home community, 12966 Morris Bridge Road in Thonotosassa. Deputies are still investigating what transpired that resulted in the shooting death.
