New Tampa Players On Stage

The New Tampa Players will host the debut of their production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, The Sound of Music, Friday, Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. at Crosspointe Church of the Nazarene, 919 Debuel Rd., Lutz. The production continues Saturday, Aug. 17 at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 18 at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $14; seniors and students pay $12; and the cost for people in a group of 10 or more is $10 per person.

Fresh Market

Visit the Fresh Market at The Shops At Wiregrass this Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and enjoy food, crafts and live music.Started in 2010, the open-air retail and entertainment market at The Shops At Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel attracts 80 to 100 vendors the first and third Saturday of the month. Shoppers will find fresh produce, Italian gourmet products, plants, cheese, pickled veggies, original artwork, specialty teas and food provided by Tampa Bay food trucks.
