The New Tampa Players will host the debut of their production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, The Sound of Music, Friday, Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. at Crosspointe Church of the Nazarene, 919 Debuel Rd., Lutz. The production continues Saturday, Aug. 17 at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 18 at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $14; seniors and students pay $12; and the cost for people in a group of 10 or more is $10 per person.

Visit the Fresh Market at The Shops At Wiregrass this Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and enjoy food, crafts and live music.Started in 2010, the open-air retail and entertainment market at The Shops At Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel attracts 80 to 100 vendors the first and third Saturday of the month.
