Military Veterans Get Half-Off Deal At Busch Gardens

The Tampa theme park's promotion is good through the end of May for all qualified veterans.

TAMPA, FL — Memorial Day is still more than a month away, but that's not stopping Busch Gardens Tampa Bay from honoring those who have served or currently serve the country a little bit early this year.

The Tampa theme park announced Monday it is offering U.S. veterans half-off up to six single-day admission tickets through the end of May. The promotion officially kicked off Monday, April 25.

The 50-percent-off promotion is available to active duty personnel, retired and honorably-separated officers and enlisted personnel, the theme park announced in a media release.

“This special offer is a small way of saying thank you to those who serve and have served our country,” said Jim Dean, the parks president. “It is an honor to be able to host members of the military and their families in our park and this offer is a small token of our appreciation.”

Those hoping to cash in on the ticket offer will have to visit buschgardenstampa.com online for more details and will also have to use the ID.me verification system to confirm their military status. Tickets must be bought and used by May 31, 2016.
