Sick Puppies Dumped On Tampa Street; $1,000 Reward Offered

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay announced that it is offering a $1,000 reward for information on who dumped puppies on Tampa street.

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay announced Thursday morning that the organization is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the person who dumped puppies at the corner of Leroy and Cimino/Howard in Tampa.

CEO Sherry Silk said the puppies were found before they could wander into the busy morning traffic. It is not known when the puppies were dumped on the street.

She said the puppies are sick, hungry, and suffering from a painful skin condition. “There is simply no excuse for treating animals this way. If someone is unable to care for their animals, they should bring them to us or another shelter. Abandoning animals is cruel and a crime”
