Veterans Enjoy Free Admission to the Florida Aquarium on Veteran’s Day
The appreciation event drew approximately 2,000 veterans and active military members
TAMPA (November 15, 2016) – The Florida Aquarium, in partnership with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and USAA®, teamed up to honor Tampa Bay’s active military personnel, reservists, dependents and veterans with free admission to the aquarium and meal vouchers on Veteran’s Day.
The daylong event featured special appearances by the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Thunder Bug and dancers. Approximately 2,000 veterans and active military members came out to enjoy a day at the aquarium.
“The Veterans Day event was a huge success and we were able to personally thank hundreds of military members and veterans for their service to our country,” said Charles Richardson, regional vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate. “This was just one small token of appreciation for all that they have sacrificed for our safety and freedom.”
