Boat Catches Fire In Southwest Miami-Dade
At least two people aboard the burning boat were able to get to safety in Southwest Miami-Dade.

MIAMI, FL — At least two people aboard a burning boat in Southwest Miami-Dade were able to make it to safety on Wednesday. The incident happened on a lake near SW 50 Street and 87 Avenue shortly before 1:30 p.m. according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
"When units arrived, they saw the boat behind a home fully engulfed in flames," explained a spokesperson for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. "Crews immediately began a fire attack to put the fire under control."
The spokesperson said that the fire was quickly extinguished, but the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

There were no reported injuries, according to the spokesperson.
