PALMETTO BAY, FL — The driver of a Mazda 5 minivan lost control of her vehicle and crashed through the front of Walter’s Coffee Shop Monday afternoon, WSVN reported. The crash happened as the coffee shop was getting ready to close at 3 p.m.

Miami-Dade Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the accident just after 2:45 p.m., reports said. When they arrived, they found that the driver, a longtime customer at the coffee shop, drove completely through the building, which is located at 17009 South Dixie Highway.

No one was seriously injured in the crash, though one woman inside the coffee shop was brought to a nearby hospital as a precaution, WPLG reported.
