FBI Offers Up To $10K For Miami-Dade Robbery Suspect
The FBI is offering up to $10K for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a Miami-Dade man who allegedly robbed a truck.

MIAMI, FL — The FBI is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a Miami-Dade man who is believed to have been involved in a 2015 robbery of a tractor-trailer on its way from Miami to Boston. Pedro Santamaria, who is about 56 years of age, was the alleged gunman in the robbery, according to the FBI in Miami.
The tractor-trailer was carrying precious metals as it passed through Wilson County, North Carolina, according to Special Agent Michael D. Leverock and Jim Marshall of the Miami Field Office.

"Santamaria allegedly was a gunman during the robbery in which he allegedly bound and dragged victims into the woods during the robbery," the FBI reported.
He is wanted on several charges, including conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery and conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

"Santamaria should be considered armed and dangerous," the FBI added, noting that Santamaria has ties to
California, Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
