Fire Breaks Out At Chinese Restaurant
Fire broke out at the New York Chinese Buffet Wednesday night, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
MIAMI, FL — Fire broke out at the New York Chinese Buffet Wednesday night, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The restaurant is located at 7900 NW 27 Ave.
Erika Benitez of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said that firefighters found smoke coming from inside the restaurant when they arrived shortly before 10 p.m.

"When units arrived, smoke was coming from inside the structure," she said. "Firefighters quickly worked on making entry to the building and found that the smoke was coming from the kitchen."
Benitez said that firefighters kept the blaze from spreading to nearby businesses.

"There were no injuries reported," Benitez said. "The fire is currently under investigation."
She added that Miami-Dade Fire Rescue recommends all businesses be equipped.
