Motorist Airlifted Following Crash In Miami-Dade
A motorist was airlfted from Krome Avenue Monday following a late afternoon crash, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
MIAMI, FL — A motorist was airlfted from Krome Avenue Monday following a late afternoon crash, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. near 8th Street.
"When the first unit arrived, they quickly determined the adult patient was a trauma alert and Air Rescue response to transport to the west trauma center," a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesperson explained.
"Krome Avenue was to be shut down temporarily while Air Rescue landed, the spokesperson added.
