Dementia Patient Located In Miami-Dade

MIAMI, FL — A 76-year-old dementia patient has been located after being reported missing in southwest Miami-Dade. Manuel Miranda had been last seen in the 9200 Block of SW 125 Ave on Tuesday morning.

Detective Chris Thomas of the Miami-Dade Police Department told Patch that Miranda was found safe and in good condition. Thomas did not have additional details of where Miranda was found.

Miranda left his home at about 10 a.m. in a 2014 silver Nissan Altima, according to police. "Mr. Miranda advised he was going to the Regions Bank at SW 107 Avenue and 88 Street but never arrived," police explained earlier this week.
