Last week, tragedy struck in front of Ireland Nugent's Palm Harbor home when the 2-year-old was accidentally run over by a riding lawn mower.Â
Some friends recently came up with a thoughtful way to spread cheer to this family who has gone through so much. While Ireland was undergoing her last surgery at Tampa General Hospital on Monday, her family's yard got a makeover, courtesy of some friends and well-wishers who want to remain anonymous.
Cheerful flowers and fresh landscaping now adorn the Nugent family's front yard. Even more flowers will be planted in the future, thanks to a unique new fundraising effort by this group. For every $10 donation, a flower will be planted in the Nugent family's yard. Proceeds from the Ebay fundraiser will be given to the Nugent family.

Organizers thought that planting flowers would be a great way to let the Nugent family know that people care. The goal is to sell 1,000 flowers on Ebay by May 16.
