17th Annual Palm Harbor Parrot Head Festival Set For Saturday

The Palm Harbor Parrot Head Festival takes place Saturday, May 19 from 4 to 11 p.m. in historic downtown Palm Harbor.

PALM HARBOR, FL -- It doesn't matter if you prefer a cheeseburger in paradise or a trip to Margaritaville, you're invited to join fellow Jimmy Buffett fans for the annual Palm Harbor Parrot Head Festival Saturday, May 19 from 4 to 11 p.m. in historic downtown Palm Harbor.

Each year, Palm Harbor opens Florida Avenue to Parrot Heads from around the state for a night of live music, food and drinks.

Co-sponsored by the Downtown Palm Harbor Merchants Association and the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce, the 17th annual Parrot Head Festival will feature the Jimmy Buffett tribute band, The Caribbean Chillers, starting at 4 p.m. followed by the Trop Rock Junkies.

Admission and parking are free.

Parrot Heads are invited to dress in their best island attire and parrot head hats for a night of dancing in the streets.
