Scrolling down the Election Defense Fund page would take a donor to the fine print, which shows that donations are split between "Save America," a Political Action Committee (PAC) which gets 60% of the money, and the RNC, which gets the other 40%. None of the money flows to Trump's official "recount" committee fund until Trump's Save America PAC share reaches the legal contribution limit of $5,000 and the RNC around $3,300 according to the disclosures. Donations to the recount committee are then legally limited to $2,800.

If a Trump donor gave $500, for instance, $300 would go to Trump's Save America PAC, $200 would to the RNC - and nothing would go to his election defense fund.
Leadership PACs such as Save America are often set up by prominent political figures to spend money on personal expenses, such as travel, hotel stays and possible salaries for key family members/employees.

Is he asking devoted, hardworking people to give more money because the campaign might be facing bankruptcy and building up wealth in a PAC for personal expenses? Some say these fundraising efforts and the shallow legal fights, are just to raise money to pay off debt and put money into a slush fund PAC. Is this why the big lawyers have all quit? I don’t know, but this sounds very fishy.
I am sure a lot of people just don't care where the money goes. I’m looking forward to more information.
