Alligator Attacks Palm Harbor Woman Walking Her Dog
A 43-year-old Palm Harbor woman was hospitalized Tuesday evening after being attacked by an alligator while walking her dog.

PALM HARBOR, FL — A Palm Harbor woman was hospitalized Tuesday evening after being attacked by an alligator while walking her dog near a retention pond in Lansbrook Village off Pine Ridge Boulevard.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the woman, identified as 43-year-old Jessica Earle, was walking her dog on a leash around 6 p.m. when the alligator attacked, biting her on her lower leg.
The FWC said the gator was most likely going after the dog and clamped onto Earle's leg when she picked the dog up. The FWC called a trapper to remove the 7-foot-long gator from the area.
