Curlew Hills to host Memorial Day Tribute
The annual event includes a guest speaker and refreshments.
Curlew Hills Memory Gardens of Palm Harbor is will hold its 28th annual Memorial Day Service at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 27. The observance is free and open to the public.
Special guest speaker will be Marine Staff Sgt. Damon E. Cecil, Counterintelligence Special Agent/Human Intelligence Specialist and Tampa Chamber of Commerce 2013 Marine NCO of the Year.
Cecil has served five tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Live music will be provided by Palm Harbor United Methodist Church choir.

Local Boy and Girl Scouts will place flags on veterans' graves prior to the event on Saturday, May 25 at 10 a.m.
