Deputies: Palm Harbor Man Kidnapped, Raped Teen He Met on Bus

A 26-year-old Palm Harbor man has been charged with felony kidnapping and sexually battering a teen girl he met on a public bus last month in Clearwater.

Isaac Fredericks met the 16-year-old victim on the bus and began following her home June 11, according to Clearwater Police. The incident took place around 9:45 p.m. in a wooded area north of Drew Street, between Keene Road and Hercules Avenue, officials said.

The girl was able to give detectives a description of her attacker as well as his first name, which he gave her on the bus.

Detectives pulled video from the bus and established Fredericks as the suspect.

Fredericks is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on $160,000 bond.
