Detectives, FBI Agents Accuse Palm Harbor Man Of Molesting Girl
Pinellas County sheriff's detectives and agents with the FBI arrested a Palm Harbor man Friday and charged him with molesting a child.

PALM HARBOR, FL — Pinellas County sheriff's detectives and agents with the FBI arrested a Palm Harbor man Friday and charged him with molesting a child.
According to the sheriff's office, the molestation took place between July 2019 and May at 2641 Grand Lakeside Drive in Palm Harbor.
Authorities began investigating 22-year-old Gavin Brannon after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Detectives learned that Brannon was in possession of images of child pornography and was a suspect in a child pornography investigation in Loudoun County, Virginia.
The FBI served a search warrant at his home for child pornography and learned during the investigation that Brannon was accused of molesting a girl several times while living in Palm Harbor.

During an interview, Brannon admitted to the molestation along with photographing the girl and distributing the images.
Brannon was arrested and transported to the Pinellas County Jail on federal charges of possessing and distributing child pornography. Pinellas County detectives charged Brannon with lewd and lascivious battery and lewd and lascivious molestation.
