Football Season Revs up with Palm Harbor vs. East Lake

The high school football season starts in earnest Aug. 30 when Palm Harbor University High Hurricanes take on the East Lake Eagles.

The two teams meet for their first match-up against each other this season at 7:30 p.m. at Palm Harbor University High, 1900 Omaha St, Palm Harbor.

It’s early in the season, and the Tampa Bay Times is pondering if any Bay area teams can win a state championship. With a No. 5 ranking in 7A, according to the Associated Press, East Lake will be a team to watch in Friday's non-district game.
