K-9s, Handlers Gather To Honor Sheriff's Dogs Who Died This Year
Three Pinellas County Sheriff's Office K-9s have been added to a memorial to honor sheriff's K-9s who have died.
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Three Pinellas County Sheriff's Office K-9s have been added to a memorial to honor sheriff's K-9s who have died.
The annual K-9 Memorial Service took place Tuesday afternoon at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Pet Cemetery, 1750 Curlew Road in Palm Harbor where nearly 60 dogs are now interred.
Among those honored this year were Riggs, whose handler was retired Cpl. Kevin Andress; Watson, whose handler was retired Detective Pat Shea; and Bubby, whose handler was Deputy Jim Vickers.

The service was attended by current and former K-9 handlers and their K-9 partners.
