Large Crowd Turns Out for Palm Harbor's National Night Out

Almost 50 people participated in Palm Harbor's National Night Out event Tuesday evening, Aug. 6, 2013.

The gathering was held in the Homestead Woods subdivision, which is off U.S. 19, just north of Nebraska Avenue.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Sgt. Denise Nestor spoke to the crowd, giving them tips on how to watch out for crime in their neighborhood and how to stay safe. Nestor said it was a large turnout for this type of event.
