Leprechaun Challenge: Palm Harbor Clover 5K, Dunedin Shamrock 5K, Duathlon
Looking for a St. Patrick's Day weekend fun run to get your celebration started? You may consider The Leprechaun Challenge, completing back-to-back 5K run/walks on March 16 and 17 in Palm Harbor and Dunedin and a duathlon.

The exercise leprechaun has dropped the gauntlet.Â
His challenge?
Two 5K races and a duathlon in two days, in two neighboring downtown districts who know how to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Registration closes on March 15, for all races — The Clover 5K in Palm Harbor and The Shamrock 5K in Dunedin, scheduled for March 16 and March 17, respectively, and the Outspokin Bikes Leprechaun Challenge 8-mile bike/ 1-mile run on March 16.
And only 18 spaces remained in the Shamrock 5K, as of mid-day Monday, March 4, according to organizers.

The Palm Harbor Clover 5K run/walk ends with a post race party at Peggy O'Neill's, which benefits the Old Palm Harbor Main Street district. Race starts at 10:30 a.m. on March 16 at 600 8th St.
The Outspokin Bikes Leprechaun Challenge Bike/Run is an 8-mile bike race and 1-mile run starting at 9 a.m. on March 16Â at 600 8th St, Palm Harbor.Â
The Dunedin Shamrock 5K run/walk includes beer, and a free post-race beer at Flanagan's Irish Pub's downtown street party. Race starts at 10:30 a.m. on March 17 at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Baby strollers welcome. Please leave dogs at home.
