New Sunderman Field Lights Reduce Monthly Electric Bill by Nearly $900

With so many local agencies still dealing with budget cutbacks from our shaky economy, this stands out as good news.

CSA Palm Harbor reports that the monthly lighting bill at the Sunderman Sports Complex has dropped by nearly $900 because of the new energy-efficient lighting system that was recently installed.

A year-to-year lighting bill comparison is as follows-

• March 2012: $2,250
• March 2013: $1,377

The new lights are taller and brighter than the previous lights, as the photos show.
