Obituary: Carol Barbara Windsor Swope

Carol Barbara Windsor Swope, 56, of Palm Harbor, passed away June 22, 2012, at Mease Hospital Countryside following a several-year battle with non-alcoholic liver disease.

She was born in Newark, NJ, and moved to Richmond, VA, in 1965. She was employed by the Bank of Virginia before moving to Florida in 1981. She had resided in Palm Harbor since 2000.

Carol was a loving wife and mother, and a talented artist and crafter. She was predeceased by her parents, Carl W. Windsor, Jr., and Estelle C. Windsor. 

She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Brandon; daughter, Ashleigh, all of Palm Harbor; brothers Bob (Gina) Windsor and Greg (Valerie Moss) Windsor; and stepmother Joyce Windsor, all of Richmond.

There will be no memorial service. A private scattering of ashes will take place at a later date.
